Peace & Love & Follow Friday

Hello all.  Well, it's been a pretty interesting week.  I'm learning the ropes of being poor and realizing how many things I took for granted the few times I have had money as an adult.  This is good, because one day, when I do actually have money again, I will know how to make it stretch AND I will be more grateful for all of the things that I will get to do that I can't do now (like... going to the movies or being able to buy craft supplies or going to P.F. Chang's or being able to buy things with cash instead of pennies...)  So yeah... it's definitely a good learning experience.

So what's been happening.  Well, I have been doing a LOT of writing.  Not a lot of sleeping.  And I've been hanging out with friends, cuddling with Ava Boo Boo, and just living my crazy Bohemian life. :)

And the Westboro Baptist Church came to town.  But not in great numbers.  Apparently, there were only about 3 of them outside of East Lansing High School yesterday. (I decided not to go so as not to give them any fuel for their fire.  I really do just want peace and love.)
In any case, the students showed them that we didn't need any hate coming from them in our community by doing their own peaceful counter-protest.  Read more about it here: NBC News Article on WBC in East Lansing

Anyway, on to today.  Well, today is Friday, and as some of you might know, Friday is "follow friday" on Twitter.  So, I, like many others, having been finding new people to follow today and promoting people to follow as well.  In my "follow friday" adventures, I found a lot of interesting websites to check out.  Here's what I came across:

Located in Ohio.  Seems like a neat place.  Plus, I gotta represent for anything "Great Lakes." haha

I get excited whenever I come across people trying to promote peace.

I'm a follower!  I can't wait to read more.  It seems like there's a lot of stuff here to help people & the world.

One Life. One Planet. Live Deeply.
I am definitely interested in knowing more...

I will definitely be spending more time on this site too.  Check it out if you want peace.

Clothing for people who love peace and love.

I know nothing about this site yet, but I like the idea of a record company promoting peace.  So yeah... I'll have to look into it more...

Heroes working for peace.  Awesome.

He appeals to me because he believes in sharing creativity, thoughts, and ideas on the web.

If you're looking for a new book, here's an author I came across today.

Musician / Geek / Thinker / Blogger

And these next two are not new finds, but two sites I just think you should check out. :)

Google offers helpful tools to communicate with people all over the world; even if they speak a different language.

My brand new website.  All about PonchoMeg: The Modern Bohemian on the web & in life.

And I really don't know what else to write about.  So I will leave you with all that for now.  Now, if you have any great sites about peace, love, creativity, giving, writing, hippies, bohemians, etc. that you like, please share them in the comments so I can check them out too. :)

Peace and Love,
Meagan

Uplifting Stuff (I need it!)

Uplift: to improve the spiritual, social, or intellectual condition of...

Words of Wisdom:

"Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today." -James Dean

"Forget regret, or life is yours to miss.  No other road, no other way... no day but today." -Rent, Jonathan Larson

"I will not fear.  Fear is the mind killer..." -Dune, Frank Herbert

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." -Jimi Hendrix

"Those who wish to sing always have a song." -Swedish Proverb

More Uplifting Stuff:

Uplifting Connections: This place seems awesome.  Too bad I don't live around there... or even in that state.  But if I ever do go there, I want to check this place out.
I really like what the owner has to say:

Our Goal is to increase positive energy in the world - to help people feel healthy, happy, strong, and centered with more balance in their lives.
Ellie Bassick-Trovato, UC Owner

Groovy, right?

Beliefnet is THE site for spirituality, inspiration, and faith.  There's a lot of good stuff on this site.

Google search either "funny animal picture" or "funny pet picture" and enjoy what you get.  They are funny, stupid, uplifting, inspiring, and so much more!

This song is AMAZING!  It helps me feel better.  True Believer always cheers me up too (of course). Other great ones? "No one is Alone" from Into the WoodsIf I Had You (and really... anything Adam Lambert), and Get Together by The Youngbloods.

"Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together, try to love one another right now..."

I made $23.00 today selling CDs, DVDs, and old games.  Money in the pocket is definitely a step in the right direction.

My Baby Boo-Boo!!  It's Ava!  She makes me happy and keeps me going!

Peace and Love,
Meagan

Oh Life... oh ever changing life...

This has been, and continues to be, a time of interesting highs and lows for the Modern Bohemian.

We'll start with the lows...

I've been sick, and it worries me. (See earlier post)
A friend's father just died
I don't have enough money to pay my rent
I can't seem to be able to get even a part time job out in the "real world" (only online)
and the State wants to cut back on and/or take away my unemployment benefits... which I've received for less than a month.
Etc. etc. etc.
Boo.

But then there are the high notes!  The happy points!  The exciting moments!  Including:
Getting hired to be the Lansing Electronic Music Examiner on Examiner.com.  (Check out my first article with them here: "Macs Bar supports electronic music in Lansing")
Getting my article, The Top Five Zoos in Michigan, featured on the front page of List My 5.
Getting more followers on Twitter
Getting approved as an affiliate for Discovery Channel Holiday Gift Guide - Shop Now! and  and Man vs Wild
and seeing Wilhuff succeed in the online, social networking world.

But where's the in between?  I can't go through life like I'm on a rollercoaster; up and down, up and down!  Sometimes I need some in between.
The ideal ratio would be 70% good things (the highs), 10% bad things (the lows... you know, so that I can still appreciate the highs), and 20% in between (in between.  Neither bad, nor good, just a normal, smooth sailing kind of boring regularity that sometimes help to keep a person sane.)

For now, I probably just have to deal with the rollercoaster ride.  Maybe eventually the good things (like, my writing) can help with the bad things (like... my lack of money), but until then,  I just have to keep trying my best and plugging away and working hard to survive and keep hope alive...

Peace and Love,
Meagan

Hippies, Bohemians, and Free-Spirits... and LM5

I love List My 5 because it allows me to have tons and tons of creativity, and when the creativity is flowing, I start thinking of all my hippie/bohemian/free-spirit brothers and sisters around the world, and when I start thinking about all them I sometimes get inspired to write about them! So yeah... this is the result of that:

Wilhuff

Wilhuff (aka: Will, my boyfriend) is starting to do some great things, and I am so excited.  Just this past Friday he played an amazing house party called "Rave to the Grave," and his mixes were a huge hit with everyone there.  The best part was that most people were dancing when the Wilhuff originals came on.  THAT was awesome! In addition to that, yesterday, a record label contacted him!  Crazy!  I'm trying to help him out by helping him with his blog (Wilhuff's Blog) and helping him make connections with people on Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter... and we're really making progress.
To make things even better, my writing world and my "being a good girlfriend" world are colliding in a really great way.  I got hired by Examiner.com to be the Lansing Electronic Music Examiner.  So now, I can write great stuff based on what I actually see around me in the clubs, bars, and online, I can promote Will and his music, I can help promote the Lansing music scene, and along the way, hopefully make some money so I can dig myself out of the financial pit I'm in. (And what a deep pit it is...)
But it is all so exciting.  Electronic music is amazing, and Wilhuff is amazing.  I am so proud of where he is and I think he can go far.  What an adventure that would be for this Modern Bohemian... to have a famous DJ boyfriend. haha  Hey, I can dream.  And if I keep dreaming and keep working and if Will keeps gaining momentum... that dream could very well come true.
Do you have any crazy dreams that aren't really so crazy?  Feel free to share.  (Especially if one of those dreams is to have an amazing house party with an up and coming DJ... because I can arrange that! haha)
Peace and Love,
Meagan

Halloween Movie Lists from The Modern Bohemian

First of all, I have to say that this modern bohemian LOVES List My Five.  I've been making top five lists like crazy since I joined in September.  My most recent lists are all Halloween themed, so I thought I would post them up here in case you need any ideas for what to watch during this spooktacular season.

What has PonchoMeg: The Modern Bohemian been up to?

Okay, Okay... I know it has been ages, but I am ready to write regularly again.  My computer is at least operational, my schedule is slowing down (a little...haha), and I just really miss my online community.

So the question is... what has the modern bohemian been up to?

Well, I had my birthday back on June 2.  It was amazing fun.  Friends came over, we went out, and Cloud Magic played a special birthday song just for me. :)  Then, a few days later, we had a celebration for Will's birthday as well.  I got him a big bag of assorted goodies, including a bunch of "bad kung-fu movies" which = amazingly fun movies.  We had a bunch of friends over for that as well, and just had a great time.  Everyone signed a board for Will and left special messages.  It was cool to read them all when the night was over.

After all the celebrations with friends were over, our birthday celebration was not over.  Will made the "birthday season" even more special by surprising me with tickets to see Adam Lambert at Common Ground in Lansing.  It was AMAZING!!  I love Adam and how he desires to entertain, spread peace, love, and positivity, and just have fun!  Plus his voice is one of the best voices that has ever been.  Ever.

Since the concert, I've spent most of my time working out, being domestic, looking for jobs, and looking for a new place to live.

The working out has had great effects.  Now that I actually can lose weight (thanks to being gluten-free and healthy), working out is doing wonders.
I've mostly been doing Pilates and Jillian's 30 Day Shred.  It feels amazing, but it definitely kicks my butt! So yes... the working out has been going well.

Being "domestic" as I like to say has been beneficial as well.  I feel like I am connecting more with the Earth, and the natural flow of life.  Housework, cooking, running errands, making things, and taking care of the people and animals in the houses I live in is rewarding.  I like it.

In looking for new jobs, I have had all sorts of adventures, but I'll come back to that in a minute.

Because I need to talk about finding a new house.  I tell you, getting a house to rent was trickier than I thought it would be.  Sometimes the rent was just completely unreasonable, sometimes the neighborhoods where we could afford a place were not so good, and sometimes my credit (it's bad) interfered with the "deal."  But finally, I found a place and moved into it with Will, and two new roomies A.D.W. and Tum (and Ava and Gumby of course).

Not long after we moved in, I got a chance to go to a casting call for a movie being filmed in Grand Rapids.  I jumped on the opportunity and went to a hotel casting call for RealStyle.  Tum came with me, and we had to wait in line, fill out some paperwork, get some pictures taken, and then we were sent on our way.  But the cool thing is, I heard back from them.  And now, here I am, able to say that I have worked on a major motion picture.  No kidding.  I have been to three days of filming on a movie called "30 Minutes or Less."  And for one of the days, I got to do some driving for the background in one of the scenes and it was so much fun.

The best part about it all is that I got to meet so many cool people.  I made some new friends, shared a lot of stories (and heard a lot of stories), and really had a great time with the other extras and the crew.  Plus, I did get to see some movie stars and even talked to one. (Of course... I didn't realize it right away.  It was my first day of filming and I was so excited and nervous that I was just saying hello and good morning to everyone! haha)

So yeah... that's been pretty amazing.

Also on the job front, I applied for a job with a church, and even if I don't get the job, I have to say, my experience with the people of this church has been amazing.  The community that they have is open, compassionate, and kind.  The pastor is an amazing guy who gives sermons that don't make me angry (as many have in the past) and I have really enjoyed each of my visits to the church.  Especially the one where I got to direct the choir.

Anyway... what else?

Well, I got to go to my very first Tigers game at Comerica Park!  I had never been to a professional baseball game before.  I had always just watched them on TV.  But A. took Will and me when he took his nephew and I had such a blast!  Kenny Loggins sang the Star Spangled Banner, and the Tigers won!  I got to see Inge up close and that was cool too.  Paws even pointed at me.

What else, what else??

Ah yes, me, Will, our friend J.W. and Tum went to GR one Friday for "Electronic Music Night."  That was a pretty fun time.  It was cool to see a diverse group of people there.  It was like several countercultures all came together to be one counterculture for the night. haha  Hippies, Punks, Emo kids, the "Alternative" crowd, Bohemians, Stoners, Ravers... all sorts of people of all walks of life were there... and that to me is groovy.
I have to say, I also really enjoy House music and other forms of electronic music.
If you are interested in some sweet electronic music, I recommend you check out:

Daft Punk
Deadmau5
Wilhuff
Fedde le Grand

And enjoy.

Besides all that, I have also been trying to work on music.  It's been a struggle, and I am not sure why.  I am trying to work with my friend Jeff, trying to work with Will, and even auditioned for a band.  And we may start our own band here at the house.  But it's rough...
On the plus side, I got a ukulele and have been learning to play that.  It's challenging to get it all right and make it sound it's best, but learning the basics wasn't so bad. (Thank you Music Education degree.  I'm glad you're good for something.)  Maybe if I get good enough, I'll post a video.  Maybe...

I also went on a big trip with my mom to the U.P. and to Mackinaw City.  It was such a good trip, that I am going to create something online that gives all of the trip info. in case anyone else wants to experience some of the same things we did.  It will either be a blog post or an article, but I will make sure to get you all a link to it.

It actually is inspiring me to make another blog... all based on Michigan tourism, arts and entertainment, and local lifestyles.  I think it could be something great.  It will take a lot of work, but look for it soon. :)

What else?  What else?  Well... A. and K. have some new roomies as me, Will, and our other roomie C. all moved out, but it's still fun to go visit the old place.  The new roommates are cool too it seems which is always nice.  I like meeting new, cool people.
Will, A.D.W., and Tum are all going to be heading to school, so I will be having a lot of time to myself at home.  That's alright though, I've been painting and doing photography and soon I'll get back to work on the book.  But I do still want to get out sometimes though. haha  I'm hoping to get booked as an extra for more movies.  It's fun to do, and getting paid to be on a movie set to me is crazy and like a dream come true!
I also may need to get a "real" job.  We'll see... I'm not sure I'm cracked up for the daily grind.  In fact... I'm sure I'm not.
So... I just gotta keep my options, my eyes, my mind, and my heart open.  And opportunities will come.

I hope you feel up to date.  I'm sure that there are things I forgot to tell you, but such is the life of a modern bohemian... even when you're "up to date" there's still so much mystery. ;)  And I like it that way.

I hope you're all doing well.  Keep checking back for updates.  The Bohemian is Back!

Peace and Love,
Meagan

Tarot and The Modern Bohemian

Hi Meagan! Here is your Daily Tarot Card for Monday, July 26

"The Fool card affirms that my alter ego today is aQuantam Leaper with a hero's heart. My superpower is liberated by free will and trust, which lead me to explore simple speculations for their own sake. I can move beyond the fear factor. I don't know where I'm going, and I don't care where I've been. I only know that, as the hero of my own story, it's for me to find out. For, like Alice, I'm on the verge of stepping into a rabbit hole; unless I stop short and play it safe, I'll know soon enough where following my own feet has landed me on this curious venture. The blissful frailty of unwritten conclusions and unguarded access sweetens the desire. So despite familiar warnings, irresistible promise draws my eyes wide open and away from domestic comfort zones, with only certain inquiry, hope and faith to recommend my course. I'll never know until I try."

This makes so much sense to me.  This is my life right now. haha

By the way, I will be posting a little recap of the time we have been apart to get you all up to date, and then hopefully I will be able to post regularly again.  It's been a little crazy, and internet and computer availability have been a problem for awhile, but I will not be held back.  I must be heard! haha  Well... I'd like to be anyway. :)

I hope everyone is doing well.  I miss my online community!
I'll be back soon. :)

Peace and Love,
Meagan

15 Gift Ideas For Your Hippie, Bohemian, Free-Spirited Friends

The Holiday season is approaching quickly, and you want to start buying gifts for your eccentric, bohemian, hippie friends but just don't know what to get? Allow me to help. Here is a list of 15 ideas of what to get your more carefree, free-spirited, mohemian friends.

1. Pick up some Dolce Mia All Natural Soaps.

2. Buy your friend an amazing tapestry, like this one from Allposters.com in the wall tapestries section.

3. If your friend is way into hippie stuff...tie-dye, free love, and whatnot and they have a refrigerator, get them this Hippie Heart Rectangle Magnet. It's pretty sweet.

4. Find cute boho dresses like this one at The World Closet. Other great clothing items can be found at Hippie Shop, Modcloth, and of course, good ol' Ebay.

5. Get your friend a gift that is both silly and very environmentally responsible. Buy them some Poo Poo Paper... paper made from elephant poo. Visit PooPooPaper.com for more information.

6. Buy your friends gifts from The Modern Bohemian's Online Shop. This is my personal Cafepress store. I have great mugs, shirts, magnets, buttons, water bottles, etc. I even have flip minos.

7. For a special jewelry lover, get special handmade jewelry, such as the I Dream in Turquoise and Flowers Necklace. Also, try visiting sites like: Etsy, Free People, and Soul Flower. I also like a lot of jewelry from my friend Wondra's store: Kronish Kraftwerks.

8. Get Peace Sign Products like these sweet patches from Peace Please Products.

9. Handwarmers are a big deal to the modern bohemian, so get your friends a pair like these at Soul Flower.com.

11. Nothing says hippie like a blatantly obvious bumper sticker.

12. Modern Bohemians love music. Some good choices for your slightly off-center friend are: Flight of the Conchords, The Beatles, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Daft Punk, The Grateful Dead, Carole King, David Bowie, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Joss Stone, Enya, Bob Marley, and whatever else you think they might like.

13. Your friends may be craving some tv shows on dvd too. I recommend Flight of the Conchords, Bored to Death, Project Runway, Seinfeld, Freaks and Geeks, M*A*S*H, and Glee.

14. Get the best candles ever from The Great Lakes Candle Company. Based locally in Michigan, these crafters seriously make the most amazing candles. They burn clean and evenly, the colors are beautiful, and the scents are great! Currently I have Autumn Harvest, Lake Huron Storms, Zombie Punch, and Cedar Wood. But I have also had Love Spell, Monkey Farts, Bottoms Up, Dr. Feelgood, and Lake Superior Storms. These candles are the best!

15. Make something yourself! Or buy something handmade.

Remember, these are just some ideas. Be creative, and good luck!

The Modern Bohemian in Pictures

Who is PonchoMeg: the Modern Bohemian? Her name is Meagan. She is a Hippie, Bohemian, Free-Spirit. She believes in peace and love above all things; she sees beauty everywhere; music, poetry, and art help her to thrive, and she tries hard to love all living things. She is a teacher, an artist, a writer, a singer, an actress, a songwriter, a poet, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a lover, a believer, an idealist, a dreamer, and a person of the Earth. She is many things, but above all, she is Meagan. I am Meagan. And I love me.

This picture shows a few things about me. One: I love tie-dye. Two: I enjoy craft shows a lot. Three: I love to hang out with my friends. And four: Crazy Richard is by far one of the coolest people on the face of the Earth. He is a way good entertainer, a fun hippie, and all around groovy dude.

I'm seemingly never happy with my hair. I always seem to want to chop it off, color it, or style it differently. I think it's because I am a creative, artistic type. I'm not sure. But in this picture, I was growing out one of my many haircuts and I literally just wanted to see if by posing differently for pictures my hair would in turn look different too! haha It was an interesting experiment. Did it work? A little...

I love to do things for causes I believe in! In the picture above, I am at the 2009 March for Babies which raises money for the March of Dimes. I do the event every year with my sister and my cousin (also in the photo) and we always have such a wonderful time, all while helping a great organization.

I enjoy photo shoots. I may not be the best model, and we may not have the best equipment, but photo shoots are a blasty blast and a half! The photo above is from a photo shoot I did with my sister.

There's more... but I can't give everything away so soon. ;)

"Real Job"

So, I love being a Modern Bohemian and living my life on my terms and not answering to anybody, but the truth is... it is near impossible to live this way much longer. Not that I am giving up my freedom all together... it's just... I need a "real job." The dreaded "real job." Sigh...
But here's the thing. There is a job that would be categorized as a "real job," but still acceptable in the Hippie/Bohemian/Free-Spirit community as an acceptable Modern Bohemian job... and that job is as a music teacher. That happens to be what I am qualified to do (with my college degree and all...) and there is a position open. And I interviewed for it. And I thought it went well. And they said that they would call last week. And they haven't called.
I have had a horrible time this whole past week, wondering about this job. Agonizing over this job. I'm sure Dale Carnegie would be disappointed in my complete freak out mode I have adopted, but there's a reason that I am a free-spirit... I've never been able to stick to something made up by someone else. I always have to put my own spin on things... not that it is always helpful. I should be staying calm and optimistic, but I'm not. The truth is... I can't be calm and okay because I want this job so much. I love teaching, and I love music, and I love working with kids. This job has it all! And it's part time, so no need to feel completely bogged down... and it's in my hometown! Why wouldn't they want me? I grew up there... but who knows...
I guess here's to hoping they call next week. I sent a thank you note and an e-mail. Maybe I should call next week, but I don't want to appear desperate... (even though I probably am...)
AHHH!!!
The frustration of it all...
I just want to succeed again. I have had a few failures haunting me for the past few years and I just want to break free of them and live in complete happiness and harmony with myself again. I feel like if I can succeed at finding and keeping a "real job" and continue to support myself financially, I can find that balance I need to be golden. :) Money (and lack thereof) really can contribute to stress, agitation, and a person's overall outlook. It's too bad, but if you're living in the U.S. right now, it's a reality. Reality. I like it so much better when I don't have to focus on reality. (See blog post about children...)
But the reality of the situation is, I need a "real job." I still hope it will be this one, but if not... I will pick myself up and try again somewhere else.

I will not falter,
I will not fall.
I will not fail you all.

Making Money Online

Modern Bohemians are not really known for having loads of money (unless they come from a rich family) but even otherwise unemployed Bohemians like me or even people with real jobs can make extra money online. I've been working on it for awhile now, and feel like I have really started to get the hang of it all. Only time will tell...

Thoughts of a Modern Bohemian : A POEM

Sitting at my laptop
wondering what to say
can I share my introspection?
can I make it through the day?
Am I lost, or just misguided?
In a world that's misguided too...
Can I save the people like me?
Or do I need the saving from you?
I want to make a difference
I want to make a change
inspire a revolution
to create, reinvent, and rearrange
If I'm pulling at your heart strings
If I'm making you think at all
Consider why your affected
by a Modern Bohemian's blog
Perhaps you too want to change things
maybe save some people too
In this misguided world we live in
maybe the change we need is you

Bohemian Activity

So I have had all sorts of fun things going on and a few truly Bohemian moments.
First of all, on Monday, Will and I went to visit friends a few hours away. He met up with his former roommate and I got to see my beloved friend, Leah. She's about as much of a Modern Bohemian as I am. She's laid back, free spirited, creative, and independent. She is an artist and a teacher and a wife and a mother, and she is amazing. Being with her always makes me feel more connected to my creative and spiritual side. I love it!
Then yesterday, I was able to hang out with some friends around here. We had a blast sitting around, relaxing and chatting on our friend's back deck. Sometimes it is just so nice to be surrounded by nature and take it all in.
Today, I had to pay rent and had a very Bohemian moment. I am supposed to write my apartment number on the outside of the envelope when I pay rent, but I didn't have a pen. Or a pencil. Or a marker. Or any kind of writing utensil. So I wrote my apartment number in lipstick! haha!
Also today, I decided to share some more about the Modern Bohemian by writing the ehow article: "How to Be a Modern Bohemian."
Anyway, there's still more to do, so I'm signing out for now. But don't ever stop coming back... I promise I'll always have something to share with you.

Is this Modern Bohemian a Mohemian??

I came across this while trying to figure out how to use Digg. Someone posted an article that contained a link to the Urban Dictionary, and I clicked on it, and here's what I got:

Mohemian-
Modern day Bohemians. Living on the fringe, but connected via obsession with technology. Similar to former bohemians, beats, and hippies-concerned with social issues, Indie culture and creativity, but connect more online than at coffee shops, etc.
Chicago's West Town is crawling with Mohemians-grungy style, I-pod in hand, Cellie in pocket, walking with notebook to coffee shop to cop free wi-fi to chat with friends and download some obscure English rock.

Okay... I might be a little Mohemian. But that's okay. From what I know about them so far from this simple entry, Mohemians are pretty groovy.

Astrology.com Fun!

PonchoMeg: The Modern Bohemian is a Gemini
My 2009 Horoscope:
As a Gemini, you possess an amazing ability to see dualities -- the pros and cons of situations as change approaches -- and to quickly and efficiently think them through before making any decisions. In 2009, you dare to look deeply into your desires, regenerate self-awareness and recognize psychological ambiguities. This will bring balance into your home and family life. Pay attention to the details as you bring your inner and outer life into harmony. And be sure to enjoy the changes occurring within you!
As you come to terms with yourself, you are able to see a more fulfilling purpose in life, and your field of experience broadens. Focus on matters that affect you most deeply and, like magic, your life will become easier and things will seem to take care of themselves. You have all the necessary resources and motivation to make tangible changes and achieve results this year.
Toward the end of the year, you'll have time to enjoy yourself, and to bask in a great sense of accomplishment. With the expansive and idealistic energy flowing throughout 2009, Gemini is very comfortable in this age of new awareness and high-mindedness.

My Daily Tarot for June 24, 2009:
The Nine of Pentacles card suggests that my power today lies in gratification. The fruits of my labor already exist in my values. My garden of purpose is perennial and forever in need of tending but I am surrounded by the results I have intended to create. I am empowered by the splendor that is m life and my asset is personal validation.
